You can’t go wrong with the a gift of food and this @completelykentucky gift basket did not disappoint! It was a lovely thoughtful gift from my daughter and her fiancé. It was full of delicious locally sourced KY products. Lexington KY is a foodie lovers dream come true with so many incredible eateries using locally sourced products. If you get a chance to eat at any of @ouitamichel restaurants you will see what I mean. Can’t wait to go back and eat at her newest restaurant @zimscafe which is managed by my future son-in-law Devin. I can’t stop eating these candied jalapeño peppers! Heading out tonight to get storm supplies. We are in the 20 bottle range, seems excessive but they say be prepared! My storm preparation list consists of wine, books, food, and chocolate. Hubs list consists of making sure the generator, plow truck, and snow blower are ready, getting ice melt, organizing shovels etc. We have such different priorities lol! #stormprep #prestorm #snowiscoming

Ever get the urge to turn up the music and tear your house apart and clean like a crazy woman!??! Well that’s what I’m doing today. This Super Coffee by @drinksupercoffee is giving me the boost I need. I bought it on a whim and I am pleasantly surprised. Taste is good and no lactose, zero sugar, no gluten, no carrageenan and no sugar alcohol and it has 10 grams of protein. So I will get back at it before it wears off lol! Made the banana oatmeal pancakes I posted about yesterday for the hubs this morning and......(drum roll please) ...he loved them! I added a bit of cinnamon along with blueberries and walnuts to the pancakes. He was pleasantly surprised. This recipe is a keeper. Thanks @modern_honey for such a yummy healthy recipe. The sun is finally out here today and it is such a welcome sight. Since Halloween we have only had 5 days of sun. Football 🏈 today.
